Term of module Every summer semester

Educational objectives (expertise) Students adopt special knowledge and skills for the numerical implementation of finite element formulations. The script-based creation, processing and evaluation of finite calculation models is developed and implemented. The students learn how to control solution procedures for the numerical analysis of finite calculation models and they evaluate the results.
Content 1. Finite Element Models
2. Finite Element Formulations
3. Internal FE Code Scripting
4. Application of Initial Deflections and Stresses
5. Solution Procedure and Postprocessing
6. Fundamentals of Finite Element Scripting
7. Application of Finite Element Scripting
